Details of when coaching takes place are being finalised.
The expectation is set out below and is largely as last year (except for U18 girls
- U6-U14 - Main coaching will take place on a Sunday, with some extra provision for U12s/14s on a weekday evening – probably Wednesday but to be confirmed.
- U16 - Main coaching will take place on a Wednesday evening, with extra provision on Sunday mornings. U16s will have independent professional coaches leading their development.
- U18 - the match and coaching dynamics change. For 2022/23, U18 Girls training will now be brought into line with the boys' delivery model, with the regular provision for both genders delivered as part of adult training. Specific squad training dates will be arranged in preparation for the England Hockey knock-out competitions.
- We are also intending to provide extra U18 social hockey for those who do not want to play adult hockey. The timing and frequency is to be decided – possibly on a Sunday morning.
