about U8 Leopards

The next generation of Cambridge City players start their hockey journey on Sunday mornings at Wilberforce Road. Sessions aim to use a combination of games & drills to introduce basic basic hockey skills and gameplay in a fun & friendly environment.

The U8s play in several local tournaments and festivals over the season. Matches are 4- or 5-a side and played on small pitches to maximise player touches.

Equipment

All players must have shin pads & a mouthguard to participate.
Sticks - we have plenty of junior hockey sticks available to borrow for initial sessions, and to try for size. Just let us know.

Please sign in your young person with their team admin before they enter the pitch area.
