If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s participation in hockey, please do not hesitate to contact their team manager, coach, or the Club’s Welfare Officer Sharon Ely (welfare@cambridgecityhc.org).
You can always message key team contacts through Teamo.
Open the ‘Club’ section of the App. You will see your young person’s teams listed under the ‘Teams’ section at the bottom. Open the relevant team page. All key contacts are listed in the ‘Messaging’ tab, including all team managers and lead coaches.
General Enquiries - Message CCHC Youth Section
For most queries, the easiest way to get in touch is through your team manager, via the gmail for your age group squad:

We use 'Teamomail' for our bulk communications. Emails will be sent to the parent email you used to register, & will appear as coming from updates@teamomail.com.
We will try not to bombard you with too many emails, but please never mark us as spam or you will block all further email communications.
It is worth adding updates@teamomail.com to your contacts and safe senders lists.
As a club, we want to keep costs down for parents. Therefore, we have tried to keep mandatory kit to a minimum on the junior side & provide the numbered shirts for our fixtures.
For more information check out our junior kit page here:
If your young person is in school years 5 - 10 and does not have the opportunity to play hockey at school, they may be eligible to join our Tuesday evening Junior Development sessions in addition to their regular age group training session.
These are open access, mixed sessions (boys and girls, Y5 - 10) which give players without school hockey an extra opportunity to develop their skills. There's no extra cost. There's more information on our website here:
For more information, please contact our Outreach manager Kim Small @ cchc.development@gmail.com or via the contact card below:
Regular provision is delivered as part of adult training & players will be advised which team training sessions to attend.
Regular competitive play is provided by Senior Saturday league hockey.
Training
The senior schedule for this season is being finalised. Last season’s timetable is can be found on our website here. We'll be in touch and update information here and on the website as soon as that is finalised.
Specific U18 squad training dates will be arranged in preparation for England Hockey fixtures. We expect there to be only a small number of EH competition matches over the season (number depending on success)

How to Pay
Please choose the U18 Membership 2024/25 option.
For most players membership is £189, but if your child is playing with our higher teams (women's 1-3 and M1-2) please select the 'Elite' option which is £225. This reflects the extra coaching opportunities available.
There is no early payment deadline as for younger age groups (although it is always much appreciated by our treasurer Rob), but payment is required to be made before you attend any training.
Payment is generally through the Teamo App, but you are also welcome to pay by bank transfer.
Account Details for BACS payments:
Parents are also very welcome to pay by instalments (the fee is split into 4 payments). Please contact our treasurer Rob Harris @ camcityhctreasurer@gmail.com if you would like to use this option and he can arrange this for you.

This guide is quite useful for the basics on how to use the App:
Volunteers are the lifeblood of community sport – without them, a large proportion of grassroots sport and physical activity simply wouldn't happen. CCHC is no different - we are a club run by members, for the members.
You don't have to be a qualified coach, or great at hockey, or have always played it, to volunteer. Everybody has something to offer.
How can you help?
Some people are able to give more time than others, and any help members or their parents can offer is much appreciated. There are a wide variety of roles within the club, and whether it’s organising socials, helping with our PR, pulling on an umpire shirt, or doing the admin, there is always room for more help!
And with the recent and planned growth of CCHC, there’s even more to do.
In addition we would love to see Young Leaders get involved in helping to deliver hockey within the club.
If you would like to get involved email us at Message CCHC Youth Section
