Match Officials Needed!

We are looking for volunteers to act as a home appointed Match Official on the weekends England Hockey are unable to appoint a neutral MO to cover our home W1 National League games.

Technical Officiating is a great way to be involved in hockey, being close to the action and experiencing a different side of the game.

The best thing is...anyone can get involved! 

What does the MO do?

• You are pitch-side for the duration of the game & work with both the home & away team managers, benches, and umpires to ensure the game runs smoothly.
• Keep time of the game.
• Record goals with minute scored and action (FG/PC/PS).
• Record and time any card suspension (s) and return players to the field of play.

Training Available

• To support clubs & potential volunteers, England Hockey are running an online training session for MOs on Wednesday 9^th September at 7pm:

If you enjoy the role, there are other opportunities to join the Technical Appointments Panel (TAP) not just to officiate at EHL Fixtures but other competitions as well, such as EH Championships finals weekends.
